Dear Harald,
These quotations come from* Kāvyaprakāśa* of Mammaṭa (V.240). Mammaṭa sees
ten suggested meanings (*vyaṅgyo ‘rthaḥ*) in the sentence "*gato ‘stam
arkaḥ*".
