This is sad news. I was very grateful to have attended the Greater Magadha conference remotely a few years back and hear him put forward his argument with great precision and clarity. But just to clarify, did Johannes and his wife both die today or was she with him as he passed?

I first met Johannes in Poona in 1977, so we have been friends for nearly half a century. As you say, Harry, a true and dear friend.
