Dear Dmitrii Komissarov,Thank you for letting us know. I tried to catch the presentation live but could not make it, so I really appreciated you making it available via YouTube - fascinating topic to try and fathom how, arguably, literary tropes are transmitted through time and space - though of course as you affirm hardly anything can be 'hard proven', though plenty can be seen to suggest possible genealogies, or at least echoes. Perhaps these are best seen as 'floating', live, changeable vignettes that circulate semi-freely through cultures, appropriated if considered relevant and telling, and adapted to circumstances based on each narrator's 'reception filters' and target audiences. Still, a presentation full of striking images and curious variations!
Cordially,
Elizabeth De Michelis

Dear Friends,
As many of you, I suppose, I am going to attend the WSC in Kathmandu, end of June.I have also decided to spend some time there, before the Conference. But, although I have visited nearby India at least two dozen times, for my research and for leisure, I don't know anything about Nepal.I am open to any advice one could give me about interesting or picturesque  spots to see, hotels or rooms where to stay, manuscripts repositories or monasteries to visit, etc.
Best regards,
Jean Michel Delire
