Dear Kenneth,
it occurs in the Śārdūlakarṇāvadāna (Mukhopadhyaya 1954, p. 175, line
4), in the section on pāṇilekhā:
balipuruṣam api tyajed dhi vittaṃ ditavivaśā ca viśīrṇavarṇalekhā
But the meaning is not clear to me. The Tibetan translation seems not
to contain that section; see https://84000.co/translation/toh358
