The translation of the three short works by Nīlakaṇṭha Dīkṣita, carried out in a rigorous yet vivid and engaging style, is preceded by a learned, clear and very concise introduction, in the Translator’s style.
Alex Passi is the author of elegant and unsurpassed translations (into Italian) of Aśvaghoṣa's Buddhacarita and Saundarananda, and Bhartṛhari's Śatakatraya. During his brilliant university career, Prof. Passi had to face the tough challenge of teaching Sanskrit to me.
