[INDOLOGY] Isabelle Ratié elected to the Collège de France

Dear friends and colleagues,

It is my pleasure to announce the election of Isabelle Ratié to the  
Collège de France, to the Chair of Histoire des systèmes de pensée de  
l'Inde. This is not only the most prestigious chair in South Asian  
Studies in France, but also the first Sanskrit chair in  
Europe--previously held by luminaries such as Sylvain Lévi, Louis  
Renou, and Jean Filliozat.
