[INDOLOGY] Trump government cancelling NEH grants

Two days ago, one of our colleagues, Elaine Fisher, who is an assistant
prof. at Stanford, received the following letter, which I reproduce with
Elaine's permission.  This is a very serious matter, a naked government
attack on university research and the intellectual life of the United
States.
