kṛttiḥ kamaṇḍalur:
I guess this is a "cut" drinking vessel (made of a piece of leather).
kṛtti < 1 kṛt "cut" (Whitney roots)
There is a picture of a mendicant with his kamaṇḍalu from Ajanta (5th
century CE)
