My verse on poetry -

कषायपेयवत् काव्यमातापयति नो मन: ।
बहिर्भवतु शिशिरो वसन्तयति तं कवि: ।।

Like a cup of hot tea, poetry warms our mind.  Let there be winter outside,
a poet turns it into spring.
