Hello Martin,

     Patañjali's Mahabhāṣya on P.6.1.12 offers several examples of this
type: चराचर:, चलाचल:, पतापत:, वदावद:, घनाघन:, पाटूपट:.  These examples are
offered to illustrate some of the Vārttikas on this rule.
