Thanks Jahnabi, As a fairly frequent consumer of the chili in question, I
have been following this thread eagerly hoping there might be some Skt
reference to it. For those who might not read the Assamese/Bangla script,
the transliteration of Jahnabi's Assamese=bhoṭ jalakīyā. भवदीयः,J
