this article of R. C. Gupta might be of interest to you, although only a
couple of paragraphs are devoted to Tantric diagrams perse:

Gupta, R. C. 2007. “Yantras or Mystic Diagrams: A Wide Area for Study in
Ancient and Medieval Indian Mathematics.” *Indian Journal of History of
Science* 42 (2): 163-2014.

There is also quite a literature on magic squares…but i’m not sure that
this is what you are aiming at
