[INDOLOGY] Northern and southern Devanagari

All of which shows how desperately we need a sound study of manuscript
palaeography from the period of about 1200 to 1900.  There are enough
catalogues with indexes of dated and located manuscripts to make such a
work possible within a reasonable time.
