In going on the website:
http://is1.mum.edu/vedicreserve/
http://is1.mum.edu/vedicreserve/puran.htm
and looking at the available texts in .pdf form, it reminds me that three years ago I was contacted by a scholar belonging to this Institute (located in the U.S.A.) who was looking for the lost Varuṇopapurāṇa (also quoted in various lists of upapurāṇa, but not dealt with in Hazra's work). Finally he found one Telugu manuscript of the text in GOML Madras, on the basis of which has been produced the devanagari version (no. 12) posted on the page (which constitutes the only available edition).

>> The source of Kuddāla for his statements in his Intro to Patañjali's Mahabhāṣya must be statements found in Vaidyanātha Pāyaguṇḍe's commentary Chāya on Nāgeśa's Uddyota. All these quotes are found in the introductory verses of Chāya (Vol 1, Vyākaraṇa-Mahābhāṣya, ed. Shivadatta Kaddala, Nirnayasagara, 1917, p2), where Vaidyanātha refers to ParāśaraPurāṇa, and Viṣṇudharmottara.

>>> Dear Arlo,
>>>
>>> In his Sanskrit introduction to the first volume of the Nirnayasagara edition of Patañjali's Vyākaraṇa-Mahābhāṣya (1917, p. 16, fn 5), the editor Shivadatta Kuddala says that this verse is from Parāśara-Upapurāṇa. The same source is given for the traditional definitions of Sūtra and Vārttika. (Kuddāla, Intro, p. 12 and 14). For the definition of Sūtra, Kuddāla also refers to Viṣṇūdharmottara (ibid, p. 12). On p. 11 of his Introduction, Kuddāla quotes the following verse from Parāśara-Upapurāṇa:
>>> pāṇinīyaṃ mahāśāstraṃ padasādhutvalakṣaṇam /
>>> sarvopakārakaṃ grāhyaṃ kṛtsnaṃ tyājyaṃ na kiṃcana //
>>> From this it appears that there is a section in the Parāśara-Upapurāṇa dealing with Pāṇini, and the definitions of Sūtra, Vārttika and Bhāṣya likely appear in that section.
>>>
>>> I don't have a copy of Parāśara-Upapurāṇa with me at hand, but that is one possible source to check. Hope this helps. Best,
