We would like to bring to your attention a recently published guest-edited double-issue of the journal "Religions of South Asia", entitled "Genealogy and History in South Asia".

These papers are the proceedings of a conference held in Cardiff in May 2010, in connection with a three-year project entitled "The History of Genealogy, the Genealogy of History: Family and the Narrative Construction of the Significant Past in Early South Asia", funded by the UK Arts and Humanities Research Council.
