> This module incorporates a basic linguistic and literary survey of Tamil Literary texts. It seeks to engage students in an examination of the social constituents of Tamil culture. It also attempts to introduce students to Singapore creative writing in Tamil in all genres.

> (d) Teach SN3275 Tamil Studies II:

> This module builds on the skills learnt from the level-2000 module. By the end of this advanced level course, students will be equipped with the skills and strategies to engage in depth with the literary, socio-political and cultural dimensions of Tamil. Another important component will be translation studies. The final objective of the module is to train students to become polished users of Tamil language.

> (e) Teach other modules on South Asia in English. This could be on any of a range of topics that include religion, society, popular culture/art, language and/or literature pertaining to South Asia.
