I received a query from a colleague not on Indology. He wants to trace the source of the following verse that occurs in the Yuktidīpikā:

yām eva prathamāṃ rātrim garbhe bhavati pūruṣaḥ / samprasthitas tām bhavati sa gacchan na nivartate //
