source of verses

Dear Diwakar,

Two nearly identical verses are found in a passage relegated to the  
appendix in the critical edition of the Mahaabhaarata (MBh 13 App. I  
No. 24 ll. 207--210):

13_014_0207 prag.rhyaudumbara.m paatra.m toyapuur.nam uda"nmukha.h
13_014_0208 upavaasa.m tu g.rh.niiyaad yad vaa sa.mkalpayed vratam
13_014_0209 devataas tasya tu.syanti kaamika.m caapi sidhyati
13_014_0210 anyathaa hi v.rthaa martyaa.h kurvate svalpabuddhaya.h
