The Department of South Asia Studies (SASt) at the University of
Pennsylvania invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in
the area of South Indian Studies. Qualified candidates will have expert
knowledge of one or more South Indian languages, and also demonstrable
competence in a discipline of specialization. A successful candidate must be
able to teach broad undergraduate courses, and to instruct graduate students
conducting original work in South Indian languages and contexts.
