.sa.s.tikaa is a reasonably common word in the corpus of ayurvedic
literature.  It occurs in Carakasamhita, Susrutasamhita, Astangahrdaya,
Sarngadharasamhita, and Bhavaprakasa.  Not in the Madhavanidana.
