Position:
Directeur d'études (equivalent to a full professor)
for Tibetan Religions at the Religious Studies depart-
ment of the École pratique des hautes études.

Requirements:
Candidates preferably have a habilitation or otherwise
must prove equivalent qualifications. If a habilitation
is not available, a special 'commission of equivalence'
will establish the candidate's qualifications on the
basis of her or his curriculum vitae, list of publica-
tions, achievements and responsibilities.
     The candidate is required to be fluent in French;
teaching has to be conducted in French.

Teaching load:
3 hours weekly during 35 weeks:
   2 hours of research seminar and
   1 hour with a topic more or less open to choice.

Candidates must apply within four weeks after the
position has been announced in the Official Bulletin
(to appear around February or March 2002; website:
bo.gouv.fr).
