The classical Tamil text cilappatikAram (pre-Kalidasa?) mentions
"aRi tuyil" ("conscious" sleep) or yoga nidra of viSNu at ATakamATam
(thought to be Thiruvanantapuram's Padmanabhaswamy Temple)
