Of course not. In fact, my objection to Arun Gupta was that he attributed the
period of 70 centuries to a religious belief.

Sure. Only then, one can rationally test its validity.

I would appreciate references on works by Indian historians, from the ancient
to the pre-European periods. Have these works been deliberately disregarded
by Europeans?
