I would give Michael Witzel and "F" for openmindness.  I can remember
some time back when he suggested a river mentioned in the Rgveda
as evidence of knowledge of a foreign "Aryan" homeland based on
sound resemblance alone.  That type of thing hearkens back to the days
of Colonel Tod.
