Dear Haridas,

Two possibilities immediately occur to me:

1. There is discussion of vairaagya in the Yogasuutra commentaries.

2. The sequence is  clear in the Pali Canon: viraaga is part of the
process of developing insight/wisdom which leads to knowledge and
vision, etc.
