Sorry, Garlic is also praised strongly within the ayurvedic tradition.
There is the famous La"suna text in the Bower manuscripts, of course, and
the even fuller chapter in the Kasyapasamhita, which even includes a
description of an annual Garlic Festival (la"sunotsava).
