The third section (prakaraNa) of book 1 has the title : indriya-yamaH,
tatra ari-SaDvarga-tyAgaH (control over the senses, casting out the group
of Six Ennemies). The Six Ennemies (kAma, krodha, lobha, mAna, mada, harSa)
are enumerated in the first sUtra of the chapter. The two zloka concluding
the lesson (1.6.11-12) refer again to the group of six ennemies :

1.6.1	vidyA-vinaya-hetur indriya-jayaH
kAma-krodha-lobha-mAna-mada-harSa-tyAgAt kAryaH.
1.6.11	ete cAnye ca bahavaH zatru-SaDvargam AzritAH.
	sa-bandhu-rASTrA rAjAno vinezur a-jitendriyAH.. 
1.6.12	zatru-SaDvargam utsRjya jAmadagnyo jitendriyaH.
	ambarISaz ca nAbhAgo bubhujAte ciraM mahIm..
