Regarding the question as to whether Taarakaa could refer to the goddess
Taaraa, I don't know whether this has any relevance, but I just purchased
a compilation of hymns to Kaalii in which that goddess is frequently
addressed as Kaalikaa.

Apologies for any irrelevance.
