Tripurasundari is called Shodashi, Lalita, Kamakshi, Sharada (at Sringeri Math), Srividya. Tripurasundari is Parabrahmasvarupini. She is the presiding Deity of Sriyantra and her cult is called Srividya, which is very prominent in South India, especially Tamil Nadu.

Here are some books you may want to read:

Tripura Rahasya, the mystery beyond the trinity;
translated by Sri Ramanananda Saraswati;
Sri Ramanashramam, Tiruvannamalai

The Lalita Cult; V.R. Ramachandra Dikshitar;
Motilal Banarsidass Publishers, Delhi

Sri Cakra; S. Shankaranarayanan;
Ditpti Publishers, Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry

The Essence of Srividya; T.V. Kapali Sastry
Ditpti Publishers, Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry

Many translations and commentaries are available on Lalitasahasranama and Lalitatrishati, which are very important parts of Srividya.
The story of Lalita is given in the last part of Brahmandapurana called Lalitopakhyana.

Hope this helps
Vishvarupananda
